Equipment training for a country’s health system

RFID

The Problem

A SAARC nation was upgrading its government health infrastructure and had contracted for the purchase of over 134 kinds of medical equipment for all their 200+ hospitals across the nation. This was a large variety of hi-tech equipment that needed specific training for a large number of government employees to ensure they are not redundant. They needed to do this quickly and effectively.

Our Solution

We spent time meeting with and speaking to nurses, technicians and various healthcare workers who will end up using the equipment. we assessed their technical know-how, what they have experience using and how they are organized within their hospitals. We then deployed on-ground training staff and monitored the sessions, the questions and the level of information acquired by the trainees. This knowledge was used in the creation of effective local language content that simplified the complex technical manuals into simple task lists, Dos and Donts imbibed through a series of activities.
